The Most Common Question asked by any client while discussing about the corporate video production.
Most of our first time clients end up asking this question before even setting up a meeting. It would be great if there were a formula for video vs. costing. But unnecessary, video production is not a science with a set of pre-defined rules.
Video production has a lot of variables and factors to consider before we put a price on it. Just because your video is a two minute video, doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be cheaper than a three minute one.
Only after an extensive meeting and having understood the client’s complete expectations, we can give a quote which may not necessarily be the final quote. Sometimes, in case of shoots, if the number of shooting days increases, then the quoted cost increases too accordingly.
We need to consider important factors like what is your product or service, who are your targeted audience, the number of locations to be covered, the production facility which has to be covered, the time duration of required video, the concept that they are expecting to see and most importantly, a estimated budget, what you can actually invest.
While lower quotations may attract you, in most cases, those movies fail to work out. The amount of effort put in video production gets compromised as the budget lowers. So you may end up with a video of the same duration but without any appeal or effect.
